Anybody who has a major label band they like but dont have their cds should go out and buy them. Corperate labels are about to jack up the prices of their cds again. in a way to balance out the money they lose on digital downloads. But i think this is great becuz indy labels are hopefully going to profit from this bonehead move. So i hope that people will go out and buy all the great cds on invisible records (whos cds cost $12.00 at their website) and other independents and not go out and support artist who dont need the money like Kid rock Backstreet boys and Ozzy Osbourne. (is their even a big difference between them they are all boy bands)
So dont download Pigface, Damage Manuel, KMFDM, Meg, Thrill kill kult, Skinny Puppy, Hate Dept. GO BUY THOSE RECORDS.

the bands or the labels probley dont get the money. i dont know what you use but most pay sites unless they are registered to the labels keep the money. if you dont buy the records your favorite bands make (not majors) they will have problems paying their bills and if their records dont sell enough to pay the cost it takes to make it they will go bankrupt, and chances are you will never hear from them again. God lives Underwater had that happen to them 2 years ago and they are just now trying to make a new record. its really sad that people would rather download music instead of having the cd and the art that comes with it.

Some would rather not soil the earth with 12 oz ov petroleum based thermoset plastics that can never be recycled or reclaimed. It is sad that people don't care about earth's limited resources. Artists should offer their music in alternitave formats for the more conscious among us.
