RIP
An absolute bradcasting legend passed away unexpectidly.
Born near Chester (in UK) in 1939 and moved to Texas (in US) in 1962 and at various radio stations. He moved back to Britian and worked for Radio 1 in 1967, when it launched and stayed there ever since. He played , reggae and hip hop before they went into the mainstream and still kept playing various alternative and indie label music. The only dj on Radio 1 to play Sex Pistols God Save the Queen. Recently, he presented a show on Radio 4.
