Yeah I'm still around and I've got a new album. Been dealing with a legal wrangle involving my old label, Invisible Records. They reckon they own my new album even though they didn't pay for it and never paid me for any of the others. In fact I left the label 2 years ago. Atkins had been sending legal notices to people I'd been trying to work with, threatening legal action and stuff, so it's been real tough. But I'm hopeful that it will be coming to an end soon.

glad to hear that you're still out there and maybe we'll have some new music soon. the whole atkins/invisible bullshit sucks and from what i hear he's had similar problems with other artists. don't worry though b/c just like the last 2 tours, this years will suck with out you (i don't know if that will make you feel better or not but you get the point).

I just remember Martin saying that since neither of us could afford legal fees, we'd have to take a lot of the contract "on good faith". Suddenly after I signed it, the "good faith" seemed to morph into "written in stone". So much for trust! It's a shame. I really do hope he comes to his senses and stops trying to tie me down. The guy can't have much faith in his own talents if he feels he's gotta hold back others.

On a different note are you still in London? I think me and sister will be heading out there for a few days at the end of next month. It would be cool to see you again and get some lunch. So if you are still there let me know.

Atkins needs to get a new talent besides taking the credit for others talents. That pisses me off. I hope it all works out soon.

Oh yeah, I told you about the sad news of my boyfriend that passed away. Ophielia667 is his sister and she has cool news that she wants to share with you. I just got back a few days from visiting her and her family. It was a great time and I hope to move up there to nashville with them soon.

meg, research trent reznor and what he did. i kow this sounds odd but it may work for you so that you can release more music. when trent did the broken record he went to a hotel room and produced it. his old label had a hold of him like the pond sucking scum that you are dealing with right now. well, he somehow was able to release that on his label without his old label owning it. for the life of me i can't remember what the old label was. i think it was . .omg. there was a comp albulm put out on the label. it had trent doing supernaut. is it wax works? i'm retarted today. researcg it and talk to a lawyer. i remember reading articles on what exactly trent did but i can't remember details. i'm sorry but it is a lead. i'll try to research it for you too. the music industry law always has loop holes. i'll get back to you.

meg. it was tvt records that trent dealt with and he got out of that. he released broken on his own. check it out. i hope this can be helpfull.

Welsh punk band Kinesis are splitting up because of their horrible dealings and bad luck with the ironically named Independente records. Also ironic, they will be releasing their second album on the same day they split. A real shame but good to know it can happen to anyone. Just thought you should know[/size]
