MEg never answers!

She's on tour right now and she's been very busy lately on top of that. Relax, masochrist. Hardly any bands even read their fan email/messageboards let alone respond. And I can hardly think of ANY other bands that actually ENCOURAGE their fans to get involved and interact with them.

I know of quite a few bands that are very interactive with their fans. Artists like Meg can't afford to lose fans, while NIN could probably spare a few. Larger acts than Meg keep in touch, so that's no excuse. Screw this board and screw MEG!pissed

I'd like to see him answer all his mail on a bus using a 14400 modem over a cellfone which works in some cities not in others. I suppose if he were on tour, mommy and daddy would be buying him his own portable satellite system. Alas, some of us have to make do with what we've got.

You are a moron. Meg is on tour and cannot answer every single message she recieves. Even so, not all messages are imperative for her to answer...she is a busy girl! I have met Meg in person a few times and have to say she is one of the most down to earth, sweetest human beings i have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She is FAR beyond rockstardom and appreciates her fans greatly. I don't always get immediate replies from her, but I understand she is busy and focused on her music and life (not that YOU appear to even have one of these, getting pissy at musicians just because they don't answer to your every beckon and call).

Firstly,
I would like to apologize to Meg, and everyone else on this board for all of the upset. Allow me to explain....what I was doing with my original post was conducting a very simple psychological profiling experiment. I was assigned to profile a certain category of person, and I chose underground artists. I do enjoy Meg's music and realize fully that she's very busy on the road at this time. I do have to point out that while my post was referred to as obsessive and too involved with Meg...that all of you seemed to take any opposition to her personally. I find that to be rather disturbing. The need to curse and swear at someone that doesn't agree with an artists cd you own seems a bit odd, but that's the Internet for you huh? =) Also, I have to say that being a student of logic and psychology, you should realize that obsession is a disorder, and if that was really what was being displayed here, then you should have had a more rational outlook on what was being said. Regardless of all this MEG...I just want to apologize for angering all you peoples..and I hope that you can manage to go on with your lives, and no longer concern yourself with my rather successful project. What you did was anything but scientific. Anyone who studies anthropology or lowland gorillas or what-have-you knows that an active presence by the researcher will change the behavior of the research subject. If you truly are doing research, than you've tainted your data.

As for us taking it "personally", consider this--many of us have had lengthy conversations with Meg, either via e-mail or instant message. She's more than just a girl with a record--she's someone we know. Why shouldn't we come to her defense when she's being attacked? Also, you said "Screw this board."
