There is this amazing artist from London called Tom Vek. He is possibly the coolest chainsmoking tight jean wearing rock and roll person ever!!! THAT INCLUDES YOU JOHNNY BORELL!!!!!waydude yeahdude buttrock (And of corse the Strokes but everyone knows they are shit). Can't wait for the album to come out. There are a few songs and videos on the website. Check it out. I love all the songs i've heard. I got that same buzz when I first heard Heavy Scene. Imagine if Tom did a song with Meg. I am not particularly found of the strokes, but i think i might of heard of tom vek. see my interests lean more towards the industrial side, although i cannot deny that Sex Pistols truley was a great band (speaking of which, Public Image Limited was a sweet combo of Martin Akins and Johnny ROtten, so be sure to check that out if you havent already). the reason for my inquiry is due to the lack of new Industrial artists that are actually good. i always am in [img]http://megleechin.com/board/images/smilies/shmile/heartpump.gif[/img] with PIGFACE KMFDM PIG NIN SKINNY PUPPY OHGR RUBY MEG LEE CHIN, and on and on....however i am playing out my cd's like crazy and my taste for sumthin new has gone somewhat left unsatisfied with the current flav of musik. i ve tried THe Killers and HEad Automatica, but cant really get into them. Didn't really know what you wanted. Plus I listen to a huge variety of stuff. Favorite bands of the last few years have included Daft Punk, Leftfield, Slipknot (yes slipknot), Hundred Reasons, The Flaming Lips, Hope of the States, Idlewild and of course Meg. I'm also interested in modern jazz and funk. I went on the SXSW website and downloaded a shitload of stuff by a lot of bands. They included bands that I'm currently into like Bloc Party, Kaiser Cheifs, Maximo Park, Biffy Clyro, Willy Mason, DFA1979, The Go Team, Ash and some stuff which I've now got into after finding them on this site such as Sunshine, Xcella, Drop Trio, Husky Rescue, Bleach, The Emeralds and A Gun Called Tension. Some cool stuff. Check it out.
